Abstract:

In this paper, the characteristics of botanical pesticides, its exploitation ways and utilization were reviewed, and the research progresses and main achievements at home and abroad were also summarized. Furthermore, the importance and necessity, developing trends, mainstreams of botanical pesticides and the relationship between botanical pesticides and new pesticide discovery were discussed. Finally, this paper introduced some issues and advices that should be attached importance in development of the botanical pesticides.
