一种基于东北草场鼠洞的数字化检测方法

A Digital Method for Detecting Rat Hole in Grassland of Northeastern China

摘要:

传统的草场鼠害调查通常采用人工方法,调查周期长,耗费人力资源。针对东北草场的鼠害情况,设计采用无线传感器网络采集草原鼠洞图像,并提出一种新的自动化检测方法。该方法首先对采集的鼠洞彩色图像进行彩色区域分割、多模板掩膜去除噪声等处理,然后用Sobel算子提取图像边缘,二值膨胀连接不连续边缘,最后根据连通分量的连通性统计鼠洞个数。试验结果表明,此方法能有效地统计鼠洞数量,从而有效地监测鼠害的发生。

Abstract:

Traditional manual survey methods for rodent in grassland commonly waste human resources and with long investigation cycle. This paper presents a new automated method for investigating rodent by wireless sensor networks to collect prairie rat hole images. This method uses digital image processing to firstly put these colorful images into regional segments. Then multi-template mask is adopted to remove noise, the images edge is extracted by Sobel edge mask. The discontinuous edges are connected with binary dilation operator. Finally, the rat hole numbers are counted according to connected component to statistics. The experimental results show that this method can effectively count the number of rat holes, and also effectively survey the occurrence of rodent damage.
