耐辐射异常球菌的微生物资源及其应用

摘要:

异常球菌属菌株作为耐辐射微生物代表的具有对辐射、氧化、干燥等胁迫的极端抗性。随着耐辐射微生物的不断分离和鉴定,以及4株异常球菌属菌株全基因组序列的测定,耐辐射微生物及其基因资源的应用受到了极大的关注。综述了异常球菌属及其基因资源的研究与利用,并分析和展望了该属微生物及其基因资源在环境保护和生物修复、人类健康、生物技术和农业产业等方面的潜在应用前景。

Abstract:

The members of the Genus Deinococcus as representative of radiation-resistant microbes are extremely resistant to ionizing or ultraviolet radiation, hydrogen peroxide and desiccation. With the isolation and identification of many radiation-resistant microbes and the genome sequencing of four Deinococcus species, the application of these microbes and their gene resources has been paid great attention. This paper expounds the  research about genus Deinococcus its gene resources and their utilization, analyzes and prospects their potential application in environmental protection, bioremediation, human health, biotechnology and agricultural production.
