摘要：

概述了农业信息化的基本内涵和特征，提出农业信息化在促进现代农业发展中具有6个方面的重要作用，总结了国内外推动农业信息化建设的实践经验。

Abstract:

The basic connotation and characteristics about Agro-information are outlined in the paper. It is concluded that there are 6 key roles of agro-information to promote modern agriculture development, and finally the experiences in construction of agro-information at home and abroad are summarized.
