Abstract: Karst rocky desertification is a kind of ecosystem degradation phenomenon, which can lead to soil degradation, land nutrient reduction, low land productivity, water pollution and other ecological environment problems, so it seriously threaten the ecological and environmental safty and social economic development of karst areas in China. This paper introduced the characteristics of agricultural production in Guizhou karst region, a typical karst region in southwest China, and reviewed the application of effective microorganisms (EM) in the unconventional feed resources development, animal husbandry, aquaculture and planning industry, and looked forward to the application prospect of EM bacteria in agricultural production in karst region of Guizhou with aimto provide some references for the sustainable development of ecological agriculture in karst region of Guizhou.
