Abstract:

Minor cereal crops play a very important role in the development of agriculture in Midwest China, especially in undeveloped

regions. They are one of the main resources of farmers income. This paper indicates that minor cereal crops production

and their industry possess advantages in regional resources, ecological benefit and economic efficiency. But at the same

time, the production conditions there are poor, overall planning is lacking, and production technology lags far behind. It

points out that attention must be paid to properly solve the relation between investment and extension in agriculture science

and technology for minor cereal crops and at the same time to ensure food security.

小杂粮在我国中西部尤其在不发达地区农业生产中具有重要作用,而且是这些地区农民的主要经济来源之一。在我国中西部地区小杂粮生产和发

展小杂粮产业既具有地域资源、生态效益和经济效益等优势,同时也存在生产条件差、缺少规划和生产技术落后等问题,指出在确保粮食安全的

同时,应该解决好中西部地区农业科技和推广投资对小杂粮的投入关系等问题。
