Abstract: β-aminobutyric acid (BABA) is a nonprotein amino acid in tobacco proceeding broad-spectrum resistance. It has significant effection against various biotic and abiotic stresses. This paper introduced the research achievements and application of BABA in plant, summarized the mechanism of BABA in induceding tobacco resistance, analyzed its effect against tobacco resistance, and prospected the application of BABA on tobacco industry.

摘要: β-氨基丁酸(BABA)是一种具有广谱抗性的非蛋白质氨基酸,在烟草抵御生物胁迫与非生物胁迫中具有显著作用。从BABA的结构性质出发,介绍了BABA在植物中的研究成果及应用,综述了BABA诱导烟草产生抗性的机理,分析了其在烟草抵御胁迫等方面的作用,并对BABA在烟草上的应用进行了展望。
