    The field experiments of different density of new corn variety Zhengdan136 were developed at Kaifeng city in 2007.Comparison analysis were carried outon the growing time,plant height,the trait of ear and yield components under different planting density.The results showed that the optimum density of the new corn variety Zhengdan136 is 75000 plants/hm2.The test gave some scientific basis for the popularizing this variety in a larger scale of Henan province.
